Ancestors Feng Shui

1) If body does not decompose after being buried for over 40 years (because of presence of water in the grave), it
is inauspicious.

2) Ancestors’ grave site must not have trees planted around it and/or flooded with water. Younger generations are
prone to sickness and will be harder to cure.

3) If not married, without children and below the age of 50, body should be cremated for better luck for the
younger generations as only good ‘roots’ should be buried and kept.

4) If gravesite is too old and the body has completely rotted, a body must be shaped using soil to be placed in the
grave. This must be carried out by a master with experience.

5)

If grave is flooded with water, family’s luck will gradually decrease and men are likely to commit adultery.

6) If bones of the deceased are not arranged properly and/or coffin is wrapped around roots of the tree, younger
generations are likely to suffer from a stroke.

7)

If feng shui of a gravesite has been ruined, younger generations’ careers will be affected greatly.

8) Only couples with spousal relationship should be buried next to each other. Those who purchase twin burial
plots but only bury one will cause the younger generations to be taken advantage of.

If there Is a dog hole next to the burial plot, coming generations are likely to be involved in court cases.

9)

10) If ancestors who have once suffered from chronic sickness are not buried and appeased properly, younger
generations will end up suffering from similar sicknesses. Its concept is like that of a tree ; good roots will bear good
fruits.

11) It is inauspicious if burial plots are placed around mountains as if it is being surrounded.

12) Burial plots cannot be used twice or else bad luck will follow.

13) Burial plots which are damaged by natural disasters and/or animals must be fixed to avoid bad luck. That is why
we
Arrange a date to visit our ancestors’ graves annually during the Qing Ming period.

14) If the soil around the burial plot sinks into the ground, younger generations are prone to small injuries.

15) On the day of the burial, children of the deceased must send the bodies all the way to the site as an act of filial
piety.

16) If married couples are not very fond of each other when they are alive, they should not be buried next to each
other.

17) If the land in front of the burial plot collects water during the rain and takes a long time to dry up, younger
generations might develop strange diseases.

18) Statues of animals cannot be placed around the burial plot as younger generations will get injured easily.

19) If water if found in the hole after the digging, the plot is no longer auspicious. It would be best to relocate.

20) Gravestones must not be directly above any body part of the deceased as future generations will be suffer
injuries at that particular body part.

21) If twin burial plots are purchased, both bodies of the deceased must be buried in the same manner (eg. Lying
down, seated, or ashes placed in an urn after cremation). If not future generations will constantly find fault with each
other.

22) When buried, deceased must have a complete body. Those who pass away during an accident and whose body
part(s) are missing must be replaced with paper or soil when buried if not the deceased will most likely be reborn as a
handicap.

23) It is very inauspicious if a burial plot meant for two is buried with three bodies.

24) Older generations and younger ones cannot be buried together. If not younger generations will become
rebellious.

25) The water pipe at the burial plot must be placed correctly or will deeply affect one’s career.

26) If one seeks fortune and good life, he/she must acknowledge the fact that the wellbeing of his/her ancestors in
the underworld is parallel to his/hers on earth.

27) Ashes of our ancestors cannot be scattered into the ocean as they are very important to us. Those who scatter
them will cause the younger generations to face many obstacles in their future endeavors.

28) In a nutshell, what goes around come around. Whatever you bury, you’ll bear its fruits. No matter what religion,
as long as it is regarding your parents and your forefathers, it is important to appoint a master to appease them to
ensure good life for both realms.

29) If one of your forefathers were sacrificed / missing during the war and his body could not be found, you should
appease him in the form of a tablet.

To see how well-appeased your ancestors are, we should look at how our children treat us as it is directly related. If you
are facing any of the above-mentioned problems, feel free to contact us for further enquiry.

The five types of spirits.

1)The first type is when miscarriage occurs or abortion is done when the baby is in the form of a zygote.

2) The second type is when the baby has already formed features on its body, this is called the Foetus.

3) The third type is the widely known "Yin Ling". It is those who are already born but passed away soon after.

4) The fourth kind ranges from toddlers to adolescents to young adults who are not married.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------

Other spirits are those of our ancestors, and if not appeased properly a cycle will constantly be repeated. For example, if a father who died of cancer is not appeased, the next line of males in the family will inherit the condition. Same goes for women.

A quote from George Santayana:  those who do not remember the past are condemned to repeat it.

Which also means those who do not remember their roots and its problems are condemned to repeat.
